About

Tonya is an experienced and trusted advisor on life and health insurance for all ages. As the owner of Senior Care Insurance Services since 2016 she helps people navigate the Medicare and ACA systems and all of the plans that go with it. She specializes in helping lower income Medicare recipients apply for Medicaid and any extra help they may need as well as the plans with additional benefits.. She understands the Medicare system and how to take care of the consumer in every situation.

Tonya has been in the insurance industry since 1999 and has been helping people with their Medicare plans for about fifteen years. She finds her work rewarding and loves the aspect of providing a service that guides people in something as crucial to their lives as healthcare.

“I love meeting new people and using my skills and knowledge to educate them, because I learn as well,” notes Tonya. “We can all learn a lot from each other,” she adds.

Tonya has won the award for Finalist for Best of Berkeley and also the Reader's Choice in the Summerville Journal Scene several years.


In true entrepreneurial fashion, Tonya has been involved in many interesting ventures. She owned Liberty Auto Glass for 18 years and was an RVP with Primerica for close to seven years.

Community involvement and giving back is equally important to this busy business woman. She has been
volunteering at Caring and Sharing food bank in Hemingway, SC for about ten years and has been their grant writer for four of those years.

Tonya balances work with a fulfilling family life as the mother of five and a Mimi to eight with more on the way at the time of this writing.
